Dave Stucky recently attended the annual Water and the Future of Kansas Conference in Topeka. The conference attracts some of the top scholars and experts in the field of water supply, water quality and water regulation. Adrian and Stucky speak at two seminars about water law
Newton attorneys Tom Adrian and Dave Stucky spoke at an all-day seminar on water law on Dec. 3, hosted at the Hilton Garden Inn in Wichita. The topics Adrian and Stucky presented included emerging legal issues in groundwater and surface water including diverse areas such as ownership issues involving water rights, the history of water law and the Clean Water Act. The seminar was attended by individuals who deal with water law including attorneys, engineers and surveyors.
